On February 10, 2015, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of R. STAHL AG, Hans-Volker Stahl, informed the company that he will step down from his position as member of the Supervisory Board of R. STAHL AG at the end of the Annual General Meeting that will be held on May 22, 2015. By making his announcement at an early stage, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board - who has held this position since 1993 and will reach the age of 68 in March 2015 - has paved the way for the company to ensure an orderly succession. In order to complete this process, the Supervisory Board elected the member of the Supervisory Board Heiko Stallboerger as the successor to Hans-Volker Stahl at its regular meeting held on February 26, 2015. Heiko Stallboerger has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2013 and will take up his position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of R. STAHL AG with the end of the Annual General Meeting on May 22, 2015. This guarantees a seamless transition in the office of Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
