PEC-EX is the latest software module R. STAHL introduces exclusively for the plant managers working in the explosion-protected plants. The primary objective of this solution is to optimise the planning execution and documentation of the inspections and tests conducted periodically in a plant. PEC is the ingenious innovation of Plant Engineering Center (PEC) software company AGU in collaboration with R. STAHL, their global sales partner.
PEC bundles all the isolated systems involved in testing and inspection into a cognate solution to give a complete overview of the plant, anywhere, anytime. Data is compiled digitally, and can be scanned, filtered and evaluated using status monitoring. PEC comprises of three effective modules, namely PEC-EX, PEC-FS and PEC-SQ. PEC-EX is a homogenous tool that simplifies the preparatory work for inspections of electrical and mechanical Ex-equipment by providing an integrated inspection plan generator and by accounting the verification of intrinsic safety. PEC-SQ performs a large variety of inspections such as enterprise, business or facility-level inspections. PEC-FS is the Functional Safety module that supports in testing the Safety Integrated Function (SIF) in accordance to the IEC standards.
PEC runs on browsers and also has a dedicated mobile app for onsite application on devices like tablets. This ensures completely paperless workflow to save time and organisational effort. Along with the software,
R. STAHL offers expert advice from the preparation of concepts right up to the planning, execution and assessing the inspections. We also support in integrating existing data sources like equipment registers. Equipped with data and process interfaces to all ERP, CAE, document and engineering systems.
