Temperature controls and temperature limiters

Temperature monitoring in hazardous areas
R. STAHL's temperature sensors and temperature limiters shut down systems if the temperature is too high or too low. The robust thermal cut-outs are suitable for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 and help maintain safe system operation, even in the most extreme environmental conditions.

R. STAHL's temperature sensors and temperature limiters ensure that operational safety is maintained in hazardous areas by preventing systems from running at excessively high temperatures. They determine the temperature that is being monitored from the change in volume of the fluid in your measuring system that occurs as a result of any changes in temperature. If the set limiting value is exceeded, sensors and limiters cut out. Whilst temperature sensors automatically switch themselves back on once the temperature has fallen back below the limiting value, temperature limiters must first be released manually. To protect the system, both device types cut out permanently if there are any leaks in the measuring system. You can set the temperature limiting value as required. This value is easy to read through the inspection window.
