STAHL's Panel PCs / Thin Clients are operating stations that are already designed with future developments in mind, such as the industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and artificial intelligence (AI). Our Thin Clients give users comprehensive desktop access to applications and data provided and processed on these servers. PANEL PCs / THIN CLIENTS FOR PROCESS AUTOMATION
Our new, innovative 22" ORCA operating stations inspire with the latest technology, modularity and the wireless EASY-CONNECT plug-in system. The division into a display box (D-box) and an electronics box (E-box) allows a technical upgrade as well as cost-saving maintenance within minutes at any time. We guarantee the availability of this modular ORCA concept for at least 15 years. In addition to the new 22" ORCA HMIs, the MANTA device platform offers you the option of having a 24" HMI in the field. All MANTA HMIs are certified worldwide and can be used in zones 1, 2, 21, 22 as well as division 2 - variants are also available for use in safe industrial areas. With international certificates, the HMIs meet the requirements according to 21 CFR, Part 11, and GAMP.
PANEL PCs / THIN CLIENTS FOR ROUGH ENVIRONMENTs
The SHARK Panel PCs / Thin CLients in "Rugged Design" were developed for the most adverse environmental conditions and temperature ranges from -40 °C to +65 °C: they are shock-, vibration-, seawater- and salt-mist-resistant and have protection class IP66. The modular HMIs consist of two modules, a display module and an electronics box, so that one module can be quickly replaced in case of maintenance. The data transmission of the Panel PCs / Thin Clients is realised via dual Ethernet CAT7 or fibre optics, optionally additionally with WLAN. The sunlight-readable displays are designed as multi-touch screens with integrated front cameras. The E-Box can be equipped with Intel Core i5 or AMD GX processors. RFID and barcode readers as well as a Bluetooth interface for headsets/keyboards are optionally available.

Developing this firmware, we continue current and future operating and monitoring trends, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Automation in the Cloud and modular automation. The firmware provides users with direct, easy access from the operating station on site to further information in the network, in parallel to the production process. As a closed, tamper-proof system with tiered rights management for users, engineers and administrators, the firmware ensures secure Thin Client communication and also supports customer-specific security concepts. It features a wealth of functions, such as Ethernet redundancy and automatic reconnect, and can be managed via the Device Manager.
