The field switch is a key component in the Ethernet-APL network of your processing system. R. STAHL offers extremely robust and durable field switches for this new technology, which are set apart by two main advantages: The R. STAHL Ethernet-APL field switch helps operate intrinsically safe devices in the field and can be used in hazardous areas of Zones 1 and 2, depending on the version. Thanks to its error diagnostics and status messages, it offers extensive support and provides in-depth diagnostics functions for commissioning and troubleshooting in the network.

These boxes can be freely combined, providing flexibility during maintenance and upgrades. Where in the past a new system was needed to increase processing power, the new EasyConnect concept means that now you only need to purchase a new E-Box with a more powerful processor.
