Control Stations NEMA 4X

ConSig Series is a new generation of control and signaling stations utilizing explosion-protected components in NEMA 4X housings for the ultimate flexibility, safety and durability in Hazardous (Classified) and Harsh (Corrosive) Locations.

These control and signaling stations utilize DIN rail mounted components making field assembly quick and easy. Components include contact blocks with a variety of actuator options, pushbuttons, E-Stops, LED pilot lights, as well as 2-pole and 4-pole control switch configurations.

The contact system contains 8082 Series contact blocks, which are individually explosion-protected single-pole units, and are available as 1 N.O. or 1 N.C. The contact blocks incorporate a parallel bridge contact (H-contact) designed to ensure utmost contact reliability even with very low control voltages and currents. Many combinations can be installed to provide a complete range of control configurations.

ConSig Series can be specified as one or two gang configurations, and the enclosure can be selected from the following three options.

• 8150 Control Stations: 316 SS standard enclosures - our best seller.
• 8150 Universal Mounting Control Stations: 316 SS enclosures with wide plate - offering the same mounting patterns as other manufactures for easy and direct replacement.
• 8040 Control Stations: FRP standard enclosures - our non-metallic option is excellent for extremely corrosive environments.

All three enclosure options are NEMA 4X and come with a durable enclosure gasket, which is concealed to protect it from premature aging by UV light and chemical elements.

All our units are globally certified for Class I, II, Division 2, Zone 1 and Zone 21 as per NEC®, Canadian Electrical Code, ATEX / IECEx. Additional certifications such as INMETRO, KGS and others are available upon request.
